The history room was recently refurbished and now boasts new oak shelving and a microfilm reader-printer. Visitors to the library can find a wealth of knowledge about local history from both the resources in the history room and from the volunteers who staff it. For those who cannot pay a visit to the library itself, inquiries may be made by e-mail.
Some of our new additions to the history room shelves are:
One Hundred and Sixty Allied Families in memory of Joan McGinnis Bies by Lucy Fuller
Some Colonial Dames of Royal Descent in memory of Joan McGinnis Bies by Lucy Fuller
The First 100 Years
Crawford Co Cemetery Inscriptions
Pioneer Life In Crawford Co., PA
One Day at a Time by Robert G Robison
Although, these books can't not be checked out of the library, they are available for in library use.
